What I Love

Another factor I highly consider for choosing headphones is how comfortable they are. I often get headaches from other headphones’ band, and the back of my ears would often hurt from the speakers uncomfortably pressing my ears.  The band of SoundMagic’s P11S headphones isn’t heavy and doesn’t make my head hurt. Meanwhile, the speakers come with super soft and breathable ear pads. Wearing them feels like having marshmallows on my ears. A feature I find cool is that the speakers can be folded in for better storage, making the headphones ideal for travel.

The Sound

Soundmagic P11SFor the sound quality, I can listen to my songs with clear and crisp details, and I don’t hear any static. I can distinguish different instruments clearly, and the sound seems to have a good tonal balance. The ear units also have a noise isolation feature, allowing you to enjoy your music more amidst ambient sounds. Another feature I like is the multi-function button, with which I could play and pause songs, or receive and end calls.

The Cons

There are three things, however, that I think can be improved in the SoundMagic’s P11S headphones. First, the design could have been less “jeje.” The pure black one’s a bit acceptable, but the white and blue, and black and red versions make me cringe. Second, the product description said it’s supposed to be tangle-free but for some reason, it gets tangled around my neck and “strangles” me. Third, strands of my hair always get caught in the slider and the joints of the foldable ear pieces.

But these are also just minor and petty shortcomings. Overall I love my headphones, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for great budget headphones.
