Traveling Somewhere with a Different Climate? Here Are Things to Remember

Woman with Moisturized SkinAre you going somewhere with a completely different climate than what your skin is familiar with? This could cause a reaction in your skin, making it extra dry or extra oily.

I love traveling, but I also love my skin. I am basically crazy about skincare, and I never slack off on my routine no matter how tired or sleepy I am. Let me share a few tricks that I follow whenever I travel to a place with a completely different climate.

For today’s addition to my series of Origani Philippines reviews, I am going to talk about the Erda Nature’s Gentle Exfoliator Manuka Honey Peel. The number 1 rule I live by is to exfoliate my skin once to twice a week, especially when in a country with a different climate.

This is to get rid of all the pollutants and extra oils that my skin produces whenever I am abroad. Even if you go somewhere cold, you should still exfoliate to bring out your skin’s natural and healthy oils. I love the Manuka Honey Peel, as it gently exfoliates the skin without drying it out.

Manuka honey removes impurities and for smoothening and softening the skin. I’ve noticed that when I started using it, my skin doesn’t dry out as much whenever I go to countries with colder climates. My oils are also kept at bay even if I go to the beach!

Another thing you should remember is to use a toner no matter what the climate is. This gets rid of all of the extra dirt on your skin and balances its pH levels. Antioxidants such products with Vitamin A, C, and E can also be helpful as these fight the free radicals that can have a negative impact on your skin.

Lastly, make sure to moisturize your skin with a proper moisturizer. This will help your skin look radiant, soft, and hydrated. You should also protect your skin with sunblock before going out to keep the harmful rays of the sun from penetrating your skin.

Drink lots of water and eat the right types of food to keep your skin and body from reacting to the new climate. Enjoy your trip and take pictures!
